About the Library

The Calhoun County Library System serves over 20,000 citizens of Calhoun County, located in South Texas. The library system consists of the Calhoun County Public Library, located in the city of Port Lavaca, and three branch libraries located in Seadrift, Point Comfort and Port O’Connor.
